Several chemical and biological contaminants are likely to be present in day cares environment.
They are originated from external sources or generated indoors by the occupants and their usual activities. More often, the day care ventilation, natural or mechanical, is insufficient and does not take into account the high population density of young children and personnel.
It should be noted that the young children whose lungs are not yet completely developed, and their basal metabolism is much higher than adults, have a higher risk to health problems, such as allergies caused by an exposure to various contaminants found in the indoor air of day cares and that could be generated by the occupants, their activities and/or the presence of excessive moisture.
SQAI can help to improve the indoor environment at your day care, to prevent the problems of indoor air quality, and to find solution for the existing problems.
